The Ecosystems Business Unit at SRC is a technically diverse unit that services a variety of different clients in the areas of aquatic ecology, atmospheric sciences, climatology, forest ecology and management, grassland and forest ecology, remote sensing and spatial information, and water/soil toxicity.

Ecosystems Business Unit Manager
Reporting to the Vice-President Environment and Forestry Division, the Ecosystems Business Unit Manager will enhance business, relying on our team of experts in forest management, toxicology and climate change. You will grow and develop new business by leading strategic and operational planning and building a strong client base. With your team, you will identify and develop client-based research and advisory services, collaborating on projects with other sector-based expertise.   As Business Unit Manager, you will coach and develop staff and allocate resources to ensure the delivery of service excellence and business unit financial performance.  

As the ideal candidate you have an advanced degree in natural sciences with a minimum of 10 years of management experience. An MBA or business training will be considered an asset.  You have strong leadership, project management, interpersonal and communication skills.  You have experience developing business opportunities in a highly technical field, interacting with clients as well as planning and fiscally managing projects and programs.
