New Stand Up Comedy venue in Saskatoon |

Vangelli's Tavern on 10th street and Broadway ave are the host of Saskatoon's only open mic comedy showcase. Saskatchewan has reached world-wide aclaim for it's comedy talent due to shows like Corner Gas and Little Mosque on the Prairie. It seemed apparent there must be some sort of training ground for what has become a comedic centre of Canada. The answer till recently was no, you had to go elsewhere, but now with an open mic every wednesday at 8:30pm located at Vangelli's Tavern the comedic future of our province seems more certain. So head over there and get on the mic or just take a seat and enjoy the show. Either way, with C95 as the official sponsor and half the proceeds of the minimal $2 cover charge going to C95's Radio marathon for breast cancer, you can't lose! Head down to laugh till hurts and support a good cause.
